This is an easy object lesson for a message about sharing, teamwork, or being neighborly. Children try to get the candy bars, but they can only reach them by working together!
Tape candy bars high on the wall, out of reach. Ask each participant to try to reach it without using anything to stand on, or without help from another person. The kids will try to reach the candy by jumping.
After everyone has had a chance, ask them to try again by lifting one another. With the help of one person, they may be able to reach the candy.
With the help of two people, they should be able to easily reach the candy.
The point is that it is easier for us to reach our goals (to live like Christ) with the help of our friends and loved ones.
Encourage the children to not only share the candy with those who helped them reach it, but with the entire group.
